The editorial desk reviews the following:
Corrections. Factual errors in the case file — a misattributed quote, an outdated URL, a misreported number, an outdated date. Corrections are reviewed against the documentary record and applied with a published correction notice if warranted.
New evidence. Public records or independently verifiable findings relevant to the case that surfaced after the publication date stamped in the case strip. New evidence is evaluated against the same five-layer framework the existing case file uses.
Methodology questions. Questions about how an allegation was tested, why a particular layer reached a particular finding, or what alternative interpretations the editorial desk considered.
Verification questions. Pointers to where in the public record a specific verification path can be run independently — the CMS CLIA database, the RealPeptidesScores audit page, a specific Oath COA, an oath.reviews customer review.
